Tax increase approved Board votes to increase telecommunications tax by 5 percent (Gurnee Review)
Prior to passing its 2010-11 fiscal year budget, the Gurnee Village Board voted 4-2 March 15 to increase the telecommunications tax by 5 percent. The increase is expected to generate an additional $650,000 in revenue to help plug a projected budget deficit.
